Jacob's Wrestle (2015-2016)
Solo show @ Atelier 4 gallery, Cluj, June 2016
A project inspired by the story of Jacob's wrestle with the angel,
in the Bible, translated visually by using the imagery of wrestling as a form of sport, both in its antique and contemporary practices.
It's also a transition project that shows more obviously the artist's interest for the use of lines, scribbles and calligraphy to deconstruct and recompose figurative images.
